There are moments most families take for granted: birthday parties, community events, holiday celebrations, simple outings filled with laughter and connection.

But for many families of children with medical needs or disabilities… those moments aren’t simple.

They come with questions.
Where will we change them safely?
Is there a space for feeding?
Will it be too loud?
Will people understand?
Will we feel out of place?

And sometimes… the answer is:
It’s easier to just stay home.

That’s the reality too many families live in.

Little Joy Society was created to change that.

This isn’t just about hosting events.
It’s about creating spaces where families don’t have to choose between participation and safety… between inclusion and comfort… between showing up and protecting their child.

We believe every child deserves joy, not just in theory, but in real, tangible ways.

What makes our events different?

We are intentionally building events that include children of all abilities from the ground up, not as an afterthought.

Adult changing tables so no child is left without dignity
G-tube feeding stations with privacy and proper storage
Noise-canceling headphones and sensory-safe areas
Flexible spaces where caregivers can breathe instead of explain
A welcoming environment where differences are not questioned—but embraced

Because inclusion isn’t just about access.
It’s about belonging.
