Help Us Build a Stronger Future for Indigenous Music

For nearly 20 years, Indigenous in Music has been introducing listeners to the incredible music being created by Indigenous artists across Turtle Island. Through those years of interviews, radio programming, and working directly with musicians, we have also seen a serious gap.

Our artists have the talent. What they often don't have is the industry support.

Many Indigenous musicians are creating outstanding music but lack access to professional publicity, marketing, radio promotion, mentorship, festival and venue connections, and the professional networks needed to build sustainable careers.

That's why Indigenous in Music and Arts Circle created the Indigenous in Music Directory.

More Than a Directory

We are building a professional network connecting Indigenous musicians with:

Radio and media
Festivals and venues
Promoters and booking opportunities
Music-industry professionals
Mentors and professional development
New listeners and audiences

The Directory gives artists a professional home where their music, biography, videos, recordings, images, and contact information can be discovered in one place.

Help Us Grow

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to take the Indigenous in Music Directory to the next level.

Your contribution will help us expand artist outreach and recruitment, promote Directory artists through radio and digital media, develop new industry partnerships, strengthen the Directory platform, and begin building mentorship and professional-development opportunities for our artists.

We have already started. Now we need your help to grow.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100 or more, you're helping create opportunities for Indigenous musicians and helping their music reach new audiences.

Jump into our circle and help us grow the Indigenous in Music Directory.

It all starts at IndigenousinMusic.com.
