Iowa First Media was created to cover Iowa politics, elections, and stories from an Iowa First perspective. For those who call Iowa home, our goal has always been to provide independent commentary that accurately covers the issues that matter. We have made it our mission to bring attention to the issues that are too often overlooked, and to keep Iowans informed about the things that directly affect their lives and communities.

However, keeping an independent media outlet running takes time, resources, and money.

Unlike most media companies who receive massive funding from large corporations, Iowa First Media operates completely independently. We do not get paid by political campaigns, PACs, think tanks, or other organizations to do the work that we do. We rely on our own resources, and ultimately, the support of the people who believe in the Iowa First vision.

This Makes Your Support Now More Important Than Ever.

Donations are how we can cover the costs of keeping Iowa First Media running. It helps us produce content, research more stories, and reach more Iowans in the process. Without the support of our readers, maintaining and growing Iowa First Media becomes impossible.

Every contribution, whether it's $1, $10, or $100, or more, helps us continue doing what we set out to do in the first place, in bringing attention to the people who make Iowa great, and writing stories about the issues that affect our everyday lives.

Your donation is not a payment for favorable coverage, or an endorsement for a particular political position. It's an investment to keep an independent Iowa media outlet running.

If you believe Iowa needs more independent coverage on issues that the mainstream media tends to leave out, especially in regard to politics and public affairs, please consider supporting Iowa First Media today. If you're unable to donate, sharing our stories and spreading the word about us also makes a difference.

We are building our Iowa First vision, one story at a time. Only with your help, can we keep that going.
