Our community Needs Us

There are individuals and families throughout the Charlotte area who are facing the heartbreaking reality of homelessness. While many of us have a place to call home, others are struggling to find safe and stable housing for themselves and their children. As followers of Christ, we are called to do more than recognize the needs around us. We are called to respond with love, compassion, and action. We have an opportunity to come together as a church and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families within our community.

The Need to Fight Homelessness

Homelessness is more than the absence of a home. It often means living with uncertainty, instability, and the daily challenges of not knowing where you or your family will sleep.

That's why New Zion Church is excited to partner with New Chapter Alliance, an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness. New Chapter Alliance provides temporary and emergency housing solutions while actively assisting families on their journey toward permanent housing. Their mission is to help families move from homelessness to stability, security, and a place they can finally call home.

Our B2B Vision to Fight Homelessness

As part of our B2B (Blessed to Bless) Season, New Zion has set a bold goal to raise $30,000 by Sunday, November 29th, to help 15 families transition out of homelessness and into permanent housing. This year, we are asking our New Zion family to do something different. Instead of purchasing gifts for one another at church, we are encouraging everyone to redirect those funds toward helping families in need. Our vision is simple: Rather than focusing on blessing one another with gifts, we want to come together and become a blessing to families who are facing some of life's most difficult circumstances. We believe God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others!

The Impact of Your Investment

Your investment is more than a financial contribution. It is an opportunity to help change the direction of someone's life. The money you would normally spend on a gift could become part of something much greater by helping a family move from homelessness into permanent housing.

Imagine the impact we can make together! Your generosity can help provide:

Stability: Helping families move toward safe and permanent housing.
Security: Giving parents and children greater peace of mind about where they will live.
Hope: Reminding families that they are not forgotten and that a brighter future is possible.
A Fresh Start: Helping families begin a new chapter with renewed confidence and opportunity.

This B2B Season, let's go beyond exchanging gifts and become the gift that changes someone's life!

Join Pastor Barrington Johnson and together, we can put our faith into action, demonstrate the love of Christ, and make a lasting difference in the lives of families throughout our community.
