In Fort Wayne, thousands of adults are one credential away from a better job — and one setback away from giving up. They left school for a job, a child, or a crisis. Now they are ready to come back, but the class is full, the fee is due, or the book costs too much.

Northern Indiana Education Alliance was founded in 2025 to remove that last barrier. We provide GED preparation and foundational literacy instruction — in person and through our AI-Learn digital programs — to adults across Northern Indiana, including learners reentering from correctional programs.

"A seat is not a handout. It is a second chance with a syllabus — a real program, a real practice test, and a real person checking in until the learner passes."

This Giving Tuesday, December 1, we are funding 50 Second-Chance Seats at $100 each.

What your gift does:

$25 — puts the printed study packet and practice tests in one learner's hands
$100 — funds one complete GED or literacy seat (our hero level)
$250 — sponsors two seats plus a small-group study session
$500 — funds five seats as a Classroom Partner (name recognition on our Sponsors page, with your permission)

If we raise less than the goal, seats are funded in order: GED seats first, then literacy, then reentry — and we will report the exact seat count funded. We never round up.

Northern Indiana Education Alliance Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN 33-4948615. Every gift is tax-deductible, and your receipt is emailed automatically.
