Meet Prince | The Steady Teacher

The moment Prince steps beside a rider, the world seems to grow a little quieter.

Prince is a calm and dependable Quarter Horse who came to Unbridled Paths from Virginia after serving as a lesson horse. Now 23 years old, he brings years of patient experience to every rider and interaction.

With his gentle eyes and steady spirit, Prince has a special gift for helping people feel safe, confident, and accepted. His quiet nature makes him an exceptional partner for riders of all abilities. Whether someone is riding for the first time or developing new skills each week, Prince meets them with patience, kindness, and steady reassurance.

Gentle grooming and scratches are always welcome and when treats appear, Prince is not particular. His calm personality and dependable presence help riders slow down, listen, and build trust at their own pace.

Through every lesson, Prince teaches patience, consistency, and confidence. He reminds us that progress does not have to happen all at once it can begin with one peaceful, courageous step.

Proudly Supported

Prince’s stall and care are proudly supported by the Greifeld Foundation. Their generosity helps provide the dependable care he needs to remain healthy and continue making a difference in the lives of our riders.

Prince’s care has also received ongoing support from Colleen Fawcett, whose generous gifts in his honor help keep him comfortable, cared for, and ready to serve.

Together, their support has already helped Prince make meaningful progress toward his $12,000 annual-care goal.
