This year, for my birthday, I’m inviting people to celebrate with me by supporting ReproTLC, an organization I’m honored to serve as a board member. ReproTLC’s work matters deeply to me because it is rooted in reproductive justice, dignity, and the belief that people deserve support, information, and care without shame or fear.
My life’s work has been shaped by "acompañamiento" —walking beside people through birth, abortion, loss, healing, and transformation. Serving on ReproTLC’s board feels connected to that same commitment: building a world where people are trusted, protected, and met with compassion.
It would truly touch my heart. If you can't give my old ass a birthday hug in person this year, a donation to ReproTLC would honestly feel just as meaningful. Knowing that another trip around the sun for me could also support a cause I care so deeply about would be one of the greatest gifts I could receive.
