Sonoma County Beekeepers Association (SCBA) provides education to our community on honeybees, native and pollinator habitat through many platforms

Through our Cluster Programs, SCBA provides education to local beekeepers on sustainable beekeeping. We provide educational workshops, hive dives and opportunities to learn from one another best practices in maintaining sustainable honeybee population and protecting our native bee populations.

Through our Community Outreach Programs, SCBA provides education to students by bringing bees and educational materials to the classroom and events like North Bay Science Day, Sonoma County Ag Days, Sonomay County Fair, and more... Teaching kids about the amazing world of bees and pollinators and the simples steps we all can take to Save the Bees (All Bees).

SCBA's Gardening for Bees (G4Bs) Program provides education on creating ecosystems with sustainable, thriving pollinator habitats. G4Bs propagates pollinator friendly plants, distributing them throughout the community increasing forage for bees and pollinators.

SCBA is creating partnerships within our community to increase pollinator habitat and education. Circuit Riders is one non-profit we are working with. Their programs benefit underserved and at-risk youth. SCBA's G4Bs program donated over 200 plants and volunteers went to help create a pollinator habitat where both pollinators and youth can thrive. We have provided equipment and bees to start an apiary on their campus to teach the youth about bees, pollinators, and sustainable beekeeping practices.

Sonoma County Beekeepers Association is providing a wide variety of educational opportunities, not just for our members, but for our Sonoma County Community. Your support means a lot and will help us continue these programs.
