Every student deserves to begin the school year prepared, confident, and excited to learn.

The Virginia Hispanic Foundation (VAHF) is raising funds to provide students throughout the Greater Richmond region with new backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Your donation will help cover the cost of backpacks, school supplies, and distribution efforts throughout our community.

Each contribution helps provide students with backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, markers, and other classroom essentials. Every donation, regardless of size, helps prepare a local student for a successful school year.

Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed throughout Goochland, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Henrico, Hanover, Powhatan, and Richmond from July 30 through August 12, 2026.

Together, we can ease the financial burden on local families and ensure students have the tools they need to thrive.
