Flood victims cash aid distributions

The emergency relief team of the Children of War, with your financial support, was able to distribute essential aid to the flood-affected people of Afghanistan in the Takhar province, in several remote villages. According to the villagers, this is the first relief group they've seen come to their remote village and provide assistance. In the past 20 years, none of the problems faced by the people in these mountainous and remote areas have received attention from any source. These aids will continue to other villages in the provinces of Baghlan, Ghor, Badakhshan, and Faryab. We express our gratitude for the assistance from all fellow citizens.

UPDATE: Assistance to the flood-victims in Takhar

Dear friends, we appreciate your assistance to the flood victims in Afghanistan. On May 24, 2024, the team of the Children's War provided cash assistance to the flood-affected people in Takhar province, in remote villages where access by vehicle was not possible. According to the locals, this was the first aid they received in the past 20 years. In these images, you can see the challenges we faced in delivering the aid. Cash assistance ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 Afghanis was distributed to families in need. We kindly request further assistance for the provinces of Badakhshan, Balkh, Farah, and Ghor.

Afghanistan Flood Survey

Dear friends,

We express our gratitude for your kindness and attention in assisting the flood-affected people of Afghanistan. The team at the Children of War organization has meticulously surveyed the area and we now present their reports to you through photos and videos.

In brief, we must mention that the severity of this heartbreaking flood is immense, with many unable to locate the bodies of their loved ones. They have lost everything, and the need is urgent for everything. Even bringing water tankers to the area is necessary for them to access water.

We are seeking assistance from all mosques and philanthropists wherever they may be. We will keep you informed with our reports. Please convey our message to your friends as well.
