2025 Accomplishments

Thanks to the support of donors like you, Good Tree has been able to:

✨ Hire 6 New Staff Members - Steps that help us further the expansion and vision development of Good Tree.

✨ Offer 112 Quranic Programs – From these programs, 105 are free for the community, a 31.8% increase in free events since 2024.

✨ Grant 97 Scholarships – Opportunities for youth & adult program attendees, a 38.6% increase in scholarships given since 2024.

✨ Provide 120 hours of Free Coaching – Enhancing the experience of program attendees and training program facilitators and mentors, and showing a 17.6% increase compared to 2024.

✨ Launch Root Flash Cards Level 2 – A powerful tool for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Quranic Arabic. This is the second in the series of Roots Cards, offering the Arabic roots and English meanings for the common most 200 roots of the Holy Quran.

Programs

At Good Tree Institute, we believe the Quran is a source of light and guidance for everyone. Our programs, including the 40-Day Ibadah Challenge, Quran & Me, and Sadeeq Program for new Muslims, are designed to help people connect to the Quran at a deeper level with Quranic teachings deeply rooted in tradition while remaining culturally relevant and accessible to all.

This year, with your trust and support, we have been able to:

✨ Launch Project Insaan: Young Adult Mentorship Program

This year, we established a pilot cohort of a new program called Project Insaan. This mentorship platform is a growing personal development and educational initiative that equips participants with the tools to live with purpose, peace, and service. Grounded in the concept of becoming an ‘abd, a state of sincere submission that cultivates contentment and serenity, Project Insaan helps participants strengthen their relationship with Allah, build meaningful relationships with others, and develop the skills needed to contribute positively to society.

This program has also allowed Good Tree to launch a new book club on Imam Ghazali's books on Purification, Prayer, and Du'a from the Ihyā Ulūm al-Dīn, with many new courses and events underway.

✨ Launch Weekly Evening Dhikr Gathering

Once a week on Thursday evenings, we gather for a night of prayer and remembrance of Allah, connecting our hearts heading into the blessed day of jummah. Alhamdulilah, this has become an evening of grounding and light for many, and we pray that this can continue to be a space of centering for many.

✨ Continue Support for New Muslims

The Sadeeq Mentorship Program offers support and helpful resources to Muslims who have recently converted to Islam. Newcomers are paired with Ambassadors who offer spiritual companionship. The program provides a safe space to ask questions and seek resources throughout one's spiritual journey.
