We are asking the IEC community to support one of our own, Justin Durham of IEC TexasGulf Coast Chapter. Funds raised will provide financial assistance during a very difficult time for him and his family.

Justin is a dedicated and valued member of the EPS family and has been with the company for over 10 years. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional commitment to his trade and profession. Justin completed the IEC Gulf Coast Chapter apprenticeship program, qualified to compete in the Wire-Off competition, won the Houston-area competition, and advanced to the National Wire-Off competition, where he placed in the Top 10 nationwide.

Last year, Justin began experiencing severe stomach and throat issues. After numerous doctor visits and extensive testing, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. Over the following months, he endured countless medical appointments, treatments, and procedures in an effort to fight this disease. When other treatment options proved unsuccessful, Justin underwent several months of radiation therapy.

Following the completion of radiation treatments, his medical team determined that surgery would be necessary. Justin underwent surgery in April and has been advised that his recovery period will require him to remain out of work for approximately four to six months, at a minimum. Justin has always been a hardworking, dependable employee and an important part the EPS team. During this difficult season, we are asking for any assistance others may be able to provide to help ease the financial burden caused by his ongoing medical treatments and extended recovery.
