Mary Lou Michael's Story
Maine Inside Out has been inspiring me since 2018 when I first saw MIO artists stage a theatre performance that connected me as an audience member to their lived experience. Now that I've served on the Board since 2020, I feel fortunate to be closer to the artists and the team that so beautifully supports this work.
I see MIO making a difference in the lives of people who are system-impacted, in ways that are empowering - opportunities to create original performances, to build relationships that are enduring, to truly know they are better than any mistake they have made.
I hope you will continue to watch this story unfold with me, and I hope you'll respond as generously as you can to this year's annual appeal through my campaign. We can do this!
