Every week, people from all across Utah contact us, asking for help with cultural heritage and historic places in their communities—from Logan to St. George and places like Helper, Ogden, and Salt Lake City in between. With your support, Preservation Utah is available statewide to consult with homeowners, advise local historic preservation and heritage groups, evaluate building threats, and provide specialized workshops and training.

Sustaining our Preservation Easement Program, which safeguards 127 properties statewide by conducting annual inspections, ensuring compliance with preservation terms, and providing tailored support to property owners and communities.
Offering tailored support to communities with resources for affordable solutions to save endangered buildings, vacant properties, and historic sites.
Giving technical support to property owners, local nonprofits, community groups, governments and guardians of historic sites for preservation needs.
Demonstrating best preservation practices by recognizing people and projects that represent excellence in preservation through our Community Stewardship Awards program.
Providing curricula and field trips that enrich the education of Utah’s school-age children while promoting stewardship of Utah’s tangible history. Fostering an appreciation of history among all ages.
