The Rouge Support Network (RSN) is a national support system of artists, storytellers, public health workers, and resource mobilizers who serve communities of the global majority and those most heavily impacted by capitalism, criminalization, and the prison industrial complex.

This new entity is the product of a recent merger and restructuring that includes both the foundational RSN Cohort which is a business and org co-op made up of 10 members who each operate an individual business/org that exists for community benefit who also collaborate on joint peer service provision through the activities of the longer standing Lysistrata Mutual Care Collective & Fund which is a direct service, mutual aid, and financial solidarity ~200 member co-op.

We don’t yet have funding to cover formal staff that performs our multitude of functions so we currently contract members of the RSN Cohort to both provide services and leadership to the general Lysistrata membership and support them in development of their own individual entities with the intention of continuing to pull general Lysistrata members into this cohort as our leadership development work continues.

Several of our network groups are facing urgent funding shortfalls going into the second half of this year! Over the next few months, we are trying to raise funds to cover:

-The next two quarterly supplemental income payments for the multiply marginalized SWs who make up the ~200 person Lysistrata Co-op membership (you can also learn more and donate specifically to that budget here) 10,000-20,000 would cover payments of 50-100 in September and December to these members!

-We'd like to extend our referral capacity for workers who have a difficult time accessing online resources from 24 referral spots to 50 to accommodate anticipated new partnerships with additional SW mutual aid groups, which would require raising our current recurring donor base from ~$1200 to $2500 per month in monthly donations. We still field our own direct requests outside of these vouches as well before looping new cash assistance participants into our new supplemental income/UBI payments and any one-time donations towards replenishing the Lysistrata Emergency Fund are extremely welcome at this time as well!

-P.M.GRAN.TE's mutual aid drop-in days are starting to routinely serve 20-30 street-based women as they have had another funding source unexpectedly cut, and they could use support in covering small cash gifts that are provided at 2 drop ins per month, funds towards supplying more food at weekly events, funds towards providing free holistic health services at monthly spa days, and additional supplies like self-defense/hygiene kits that participants routinely need. If there's enough support in funding this outreach specifically additional funds would start going towards supplies to withstand worsening hot/cold/wet weather extremes in the area.
