Building More Than Walls: A Project Update To Our Supporters

To our cherished donors, partners, volunteers, and friends,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in the vision of Queen Sheba Village. Your generosity is transforming a dream into a place of hope, opportunity, and empowerment for generations to come.

Because of your support, we are proud to share the progress of the Young Women and Girls Social Education Center in Senegal.

Together, we have successfully completed the entire roof structure, protecting the future of this facility for years to come. We are also pleased to announce that all electrical and plumbing installations have been completed—an important milestone made possible through your generosity.

Inside the center, our first classroom on the lower level has been completed, creating the first dedicated learning space for future participants. The main bathroom facility is currently in its final stage of completion, and construction continues on an administrative office with its own attached restroom, providing an efficient and welcoming workspace for staff and visitors.

Additional spaces are taking shape and will soon include a computer learning room, a social gathering and community engagement room, two guest lodge rooms to welcome international volunteer staff, and two ambassador guest salon rooms designed to host meetings, educational programs, and special community events.

The center will also feature a fully equipped cuisine kitchen with an adjoining lounge patio, creating a warm and inviting space where participants, volunteers, and community members can gather, learn, and share together.

In celebration of Black Philanthropy Month this August, we invite you to help us complete Phase 2 of this remarkable journey.

Our goal is to raise the remaining $2000 USD through our Givebutter campaign. These funds will complete the installation of high-quality doors and door frames, windows with protective security bars, and the remaining interior and exterior painting throughout the facility. These final touches are essential to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for every woman, girl, volunteer, and visitor who enters our center. Safety, dignity, and quality remain at the heart of everything we build.

As a token of our appreciation, we are excited to offer bonus gift incentives to recognize our generous supporters at select giving levels. It is our way of saying thank you for standing with us and investing in a future filled with opportunity.

This project has never been about constructing a building alone. It is about Building More Than Walls. It is about creating a place where education, leadership, compassion, and community come together to empower lives for generations.

About Us – Queen Sheba Village Organization
Queen Sheba Village Organization is a humanitarian, non-profit initiative founded by Queen Sheba D. Cisse , A American advocate laboring in Senegal, West Africa. Our mission is to empower women, children, and youth in under-served communities through education, health awareness, agriculture, and economic development. We work to break cycles of poverty by providing practical resources, training, and opportunities that promote self-reliance, dignity, and long-term growth.

Our programs focus on:

Education & Literacy: Building and supporting learning spaces, providing school supplies, and offering English language and vocational training.
Health & Wellness: Raising awareness on critical issues such as maternal health, nutrition, and ending harmful practices like female genital cutting.
Agriculture & Food Security: Operating Queen Sheba Agriculture Farms to provide nutritious meals for children and orphans, and training women farmers for sustainable livelihoods.
Economic Empowerment: Creating income-generating opportunities for women through skills training, entrepreneurship, and cooperative farming initiatives.

Since our founding, we have worked hand-in-hand with local communities, international volunteers, and partner organizations to bring hope and tangible change. Every donation directly supports projects that uplift vulnerable populations, turning compassion into lasting impact.
