On behalf of Queen Sheba Village Team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor, partner, volunteer, and friend who continues to support the completion of our Young Women and Girls Social Education Center in Senegal. Your generosity is helping us build far more than a facility—it is creating a safe and welcoming place for education, leadership, dignity, and opportunity. Thank you for believing in our vision and standing with us as we continue Building More Than Walls, in shā’ ALLAH Ta‘ālā.

QSV Mission Continues: Building More Than Walls - Latest Update September 2026

To our cherished donors, partners, volunteers, and friends: thank you for believing in the vision of Queen Sheba Village. Because of your generosity, the Young Women and Girls Social Education Center in Senegal continues to move forward. We have completed the entire roof structure, all electrical and plumbing installations, and the first lower-level classroom. The main bathroom is nearing completion, work continues on the administrative office and its attached restroom, and laborers are now paving and tiling additional rooms throughout the facility. View the latest video update here: https://youtube.com/shorts/esGBlGwhVYk?si=qdiy3rZzaT59nrm5 .

The center will also include a computer learning room, a social and community gathering space, two guest lodge rooms for international volunteers, two ambassador guest salons for meetings and educational activities, and a fully equipped cuisine kitchen with an adjoining lounge patio. These thoughtfully designed spaces will provide a safe and welcoming environment where women, girls, volunteers, and community members can learn, connect, and grow together.

We have raised $8,154 toward our $9,000 Phase 2 goal, leaving only $846 needed. Your continued support will help complete the installation of high-quality doors and frames, windows with protective security bars, and the remaining interior and exterior painting. Bonus gift incentives are available at select giving levels as a special expression of our appreciation. This project is about far more than constructing a building—it is about Building More Than Walls and creating a lasting place of education, dignity, leadership, and opportunity for generations to come, in shā’ Allāh Ta‘ālā.

In service and dedicated to aiding humanity,

About Us – Queen Sheba Village Organization
Queen Sheba Village Organization is a humanitarian, non-profit initiative founded by Queen Sheba D. Cisse and Mouhamadou M Thiam. Our mission is to empower women, children, and youth in under-served communities through education, health awareness, agriculture, and economic development. We work to break cycles of poverty by providing practical resources, training, and opportunities that promote self-reliance, dignity, and long-term growth.

Our programs focus on:

Education & Literacy: Building and supporting learning spaces, providing school supplies, and offering English language and vocational training.
Health & Wellness: Raising awareness on critical issues such as maternal health, nutrition, and ending harmful practices like female genital cutting.
Agriculture & Food Security: Operating Queen Sheba Agriculture Farms to provide nutritious meals for children and orphans, and training women farmers for sustainable livelihoods.
Economic Empowerment: Creating income-generating opportunities for women through skills training, entrepreneurship, and cooperative farming initiatives.

Since our founding, we have worked hand-in-hand with local communities, international volunteers, and partner organizations to bring hope and tangible change. Every donation directly supports projects that uplift vulnerable populations, turning compassion into lasting impact.

Together, we are building stronger futures in Senegal—one village, one family, and one life at a time.
