Seed the Future of Project Hospitality

Project Hospitality is entering an exciting new chapter under the leadership of our new Chief Executive Officer, Rev. Dr. Darlene Williams.

Building upon the legacy of Rev. Dr. Terry Troia, Dr. Williams is leading the organization forward with a renewed focus on sustainability, strategic growth, and deepened community impact.

To support this leadership transition and ensure Project Hospitality remains strong and ready to meet the evolving needs of our community, we are launching the Sustainable Leadership Fund.

Our goal is to raise $1 million to seed the future of Project Hospitality.

More Than Four Decades of Service

From our roots as a volunteer soup kitchen and food pantry founded in 1982, Project Hospitality has grown thoughtfully and significantly over more than four decades, responding to emerging needs and touching the lives of tens of thousands of Staten Island residents during some of their most difficult moments.

Today, when many turn away from the people we serve, Project Hospitality continues to embrace them.

Our integrated safety net extends far beyond food pantries and shelters. We also provide mental health support, addiction recovery programs, financial guidance, housing support, and other essential services designed to help Staten Islanders find stability, reclaim hope, and thrive.

What Your Support Will Make Possible

Your support of the Sustainable Leadership Fund will allow us to:

Make strategic investments in our programs to strengthen their impact and reach.
Upgrade systems and infrastructure to better leverage technology, data, and innovation.
Support our new CEO in advancing a bold vision for organizational growth, stability, and transformation.
Strengthen our reserve fund so Project Hospitality is better prepared to withstand funding shifts, economic pressures, and emerging community needs.

This campaign is about more than raising dollars. It is about ensuring that Project Hospitality remains strong, sustainable, and ready to serve Staten Island for generations to come.

Be Here With Us

Project Hospitality is more than an organization. We are a community of people looking one another in the eye and saying, “You are not alone. We are here with you.”

We ask you to be here with us now by supporting the Sustainable Leadership Fund and helping ensure that our growth in this new chapter is both strong and sustainable.

Make a one-time gift or multi-year pledge and help seed the future of Project Hospitality.
