Help preserve natural places, connect people with the outdoors and strengthen environmental organizations that serve our communities.

The Sustained Outcomes Foundation works to expand access to nature, cultivate natural connections and advance nonprofitpreneurism. Your support helps us create sustainable organizations and models for preserving land, connecting people with nature and strengthening environmental organizations.

What Your Gift Supports

Access to Nature
Preserving land and protecting natural places so people have opportunities to explore, wildlife has room to thrive and future generations can enjoy the outdoors.

Through our work on projects like Saving the Sibley Prairies, we help build the partnerships, public support and generating the attention needed to protect threatened landscapes and create sustainable models for their long-term stewardship.

Natural Connections
Taking people on guided hikes and supporting organizations that offer outings and campouts. These shared experiences help people feel welcome outdoors, build confidence and develop a connection with nature.

Through GoneWandering.Wild, we inspire others to explore and connect with the natural world on Facebook and Substack through nature essays and on Pexels through royalty-free nature photography.

Nonprofitpreneurism
Helping people establish and grow conservation, outdoor recreation and environmental research organizations through practical communications, marketing and management support, with a focus on sustainable funding and operating models.

Through our support of organizations like the Friends of Whitefish Point, we help build the skills, strategies and organizational capacity needed to attract supporters, communicate the value of their work and sustain their mission for years to come.

Help Us Grow

Your contribution helps pay our staff and partners to carry out this work: building partnerships, leading outdoor experiences and helping conservation, outdoor recreation and environmental research organizations develop the skills, funding strategies and operating models they need to sustain their work.

Whatever amount you choose, you are investing in people who help protect natural places, bring people outdoors and equip organizations to thrive.
