Raíces Care Circle

This has been a deeply difficult year for families across the U.S., and Durham is no exception. Many of our families are raising young children under the threat of deportation and cuts to the social safety nets that make healthcare and food access possible.

And still, they show up, with resilience, care, and hope. At LEAP, we believe hope is something we build together, in classrooms, in community, and in the opportunities we create for children and families to thrive.

In the face of these challenges, we are spreading our roots by expanding LEAP’s successful half day program to launch a full-day, state-licensed Pre-K program, serving even more children and families. This transition will make LEAP the first and only free dual-language Durham Pre-K site—expanding access to high-quality, accessible, culturally rooted early childhood education.
