Since 2012, Coach Robert and Jennie have expertly led the Kotzen Aquatic Center at the Miami Beach JCC, sharing their unique learn-to-swim methodology with our community. Amazingly, we have taught over one million swim lessons — babies as young as 3 months to adults in their 80s — empowering each swimmer to experience confidence, joy, and safety in the water.

We are proud that through our program, Swim Gym swimmers become safer, stronger, and more able in both pool and ocean environments. Many of our students have gone on to compete successfully, while all have developed a lifelong respect and love for the water.

Together, we have built a community that values water safety, growth, and perseverance and we are most proud of our record of zero drownings in our community

Now, we are asking for your help!

The Kotzen Aquatics Center is in need of repairs, upgrades, and a beautification facelift of the Gumenick Pool Deck which will cost the MBJCC $400,000, above and beyond its operational budget. We have already received donations from many of our members in the amount of $20,000!

Your donation will go directly towards:

Provide a safe and inspiring place for everyone to learn and grow in the water
A total resurfacing of the pool, new heater
Upgrades to the Gumenick Pool Deck including shade structures, recreational areas and more green space
