Welcome to the Kettlebell Swing-a-Thon! Let's Get Ready to Swing for a Cause

Dear Participant,

Thank you so much for registering for the Stronger Than Cancer Swing-A-Thon on November 9th! We’re thrilled to have you join us in this fun and impactful event. Not only will you be swinging kettlebells for an awesome workout, but you’ll also be supporting individuals and families on their cancer journey.

What’s Next?

To help you get ready, we’ve put together a few steps and tips so you can make the most of this exciting event!

1. Mark Your Calendar!

The Stronger Than Cancer Swing-A-Thon will take place from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM ET (8am MT / 7am PT) on November 9th. Be ready to join our nationwide community on Zoom as we swing for a cause together! You’ll receive the Zoom link closer to the event date.

2. Invite Your Friends

Why swing alone? Invite your friends and family to register and join you for the event. The more, the merrier—and every new participant means we’re raising even more funds for cancer patients. Share your excitement on social media using the hashtags #SwingForACure and #KettlebellChallenge to encourage others to sign up too!

3. Get Your Kettlebell Ready

You’ll be doing 10 kettlebell swings every minute for one hour. Make sure you have your kettlebell ready! Choose a weight that feels challenging but safe. If you don’t have a kettlebell, now’s the perfect time to grab one from your local gym or sporting goods store.

Fundraising Made Easy

Did you know you can multiply your impact by fundraising? Here’s how you can get started:

1. Set Up Your Fundraising Page

Once you’re registered, set up your personal fundraising page. You’ll find the link in your confirmation email. Personalize your page by adding a photo and sharing why supporting cancer patients is important to you.

2. Share Your Story

Let people know why you’re participating in the Swing-a-Thon. Are you honoring someone who has battled cancer, or are you passionate about making a difference? Share your story on your fundraising page and social media to connect with potential donors.

3. Ask for Support

Reach out to friends, family, and coworkers and ask them to support your fundraising efforts. Even small donations add up! Send emails, post on social media, and let them know how their contribution will make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

4. Get Creative with Challenges

Challenge your friends to donate based on your progress! For example, you could ask for $10 per 100 swings you complete or $25 to match the entry donation. Keep them updated on your training and encourage them to cheer you on with their support.
