Swing for Hope is a Denver Children's Advocacy Center fundraiser, and I am beyond excited to be a part of this fantastic event!
I'm involved with the DCAC because of the incredible difference they make in the lives of kids who need it the most.
The Center coordinates multi-disciplinary teams of first responders, including law enforcement and healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive care to child victims and their families. This includes conducting forensic interviews, providing counseling services, and coordinating health and mental health care.
Swing for Hope occurs in April, during Child Abuse Prevention Month, and is a celebration of the Denver Children's Advocacy Center's mission to serve child victims. It's important to bring attention to this cause and show our support for the children and families needing help.
By participating, we are making a real difference in the lives of children. Research has shown that children who receive effective therapy after experiencing abuse or neglect are less likely to suffer from drug or alcohol abuse, mental health disorders or become involved in criminal activity. By supporting the Denver Children's Advocacy Center, we are helping to provide these children with the care and support they need to heal and thrive.
This Topgolf tournament is a fun and meaningful way to support the DCAC and the children and families they serve. I hope to see you all there, having a blast and making a difference!
