The AYF Washington DC "Ani" Chapter is participating in the ARF Youth Office "Towards Syunik" (Դէպի Սիւնիք) initiative, with the goal of raising $4,000 to help support an educational youth conference and expand the "Verelk" youth entrepreneurship program to the region.

In the face of ongoing Azerbaijani aggression, the youth of Armenia's southern Syunik region need our help more than ever. Since the disastrous November, 2020, accord imposed on the people of Armenia and Artsakh, Azerbaijani forces continue to threaten the safety and security of the people of Syunik, blocking roads in the region, encroaching on sovereign Armenian territory, and firing on border villages.

Through direct, innovative, youth-to-youth programs like "Towards Syunik" (Դէպի Սիւնիք), the worldwide AYF looks to bolster the resilient spirit of the people of the region, and send a strong message that we stand united against all threats foreign and domestic.
