TCNE is launching our crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for First Event 2026!

Did you know that TCNE is led by volunteers and there is no paid staff for TCNE or First Event! Being community driven, First Event relies on the generosity of donors to help us make First Event happen.

To Connect You to Your Path is the mission of TCNE and is demonstrated most visibly with our annual conference, First Event. First Event opens the door for transgender and gender-expansive people and those who love and support them to literally hundreds of resources, connections, and education all in one location.

For First Event 2026, we are planning to add new programming to expand diversity and inclusion. We are also implementing sliding-scale pricing to make our conference more equitable. More changes to come!

TCNE is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with low expenses and no paid staff, so nearly all of donated monies are used to fund First Event and other community-building events.
