Sculpture Missoula began when Chuck Leonard, a local sculptor, and Melissa Blunt wondered why didn’t Missoula, which prides itself in its artistic community, have a space devoted to outdoor sculpture?

That question resulted in a collaboration between the City of Missoula, Arts Missoula, and Sculpture Missoula to create an inclusive, barrier-free community space to access sculptural art while establishing a means to support local and regional artists. The City provided space for installations in Silver Park - a gem among Missoula’s public landscapes - while all funding will be provided by Sculpture Missoula through private donations and grants.

Thank you for helping Sculpture Missoula (an all-volunteer community group) achieve our dream of a world-class sculpture park Missoulians can be proud of. With your donation you will be supporting both local and regional sculpture artists, but also local cement, installation, landscaping, metallurgy and other contractors who will participate in making the community sculpture park a reality, much less flourish for years to come.
