Empowerment is confidence. To me, empowerment means feeling confident in your own skin. Whether that means being confident in how you dress, what hobbies you enjoy, the profession you chose, ect. empowerment is the confidence to be YOU free of judgement and barriers.

Empowerment, in relation to my career, means a lot to me. Working in a male dominated industry, hasn’t always been easy and for many years has had an abundance of challenges. However, as my knowledge and genuine passion of development grew, I gained more support from those surrounding me, helping me advance to where I am today. Without, confidence in myself and my own capabilities, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Ultimately, if you are confident in yourself, you will be empowered to shape your own path and make a meaningful impact in any field you chose.
