Support Student Protest- Help Cover Legal & Medical Fees!

On May 7th, UMass Amherst students continued to demand UMass cut ties with Israel admist the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Their peaceful protest encampment lead to more than 130 arrests by armed State Police.

As community members, we are grateful for student leadership for a free Palestine. Mutual aid is one way we can show support for their resistance.

Those arrested experienced loss and damage of posessions, injuries requiring medical care, stress and trauma from arrests, and are now involved in legal processes. For some, this means economic hardship. Please consider donating what you can to help cover expenses. All students have the right to engage in peaceful demonstration without the threat of financial hardship.

Any funds that exceed the goal will go toward families fleeing Gaza, including Muhammad's family and Aya's family.
