THRIVE was born from lived experience. During a season of severe mental illness, I began my own healing journey and spoke openly about it. Almost every time I shared, I heard the same response: “me too.” Those words showed me how many in our community were quietly carrying similar struggles—and how deeply we needed spaces for support and connection.

I wanted to create a place where we could incorporate our artistic crafts with our healing, blending creativity and mental well-being. Today, THRIVE offers arts-and-mental-health workshops and classes, along with presentations that spread this message to wider audiences.

The Together for THRIVE Fund will help us formally establish the organization, develop a free food and clothing pantry, and provide quality, consistent services to artists and neighbors in need.
