This Giving Tuesday, Teaneck Creek is Creating Wildspaces for Tomorrow’s Children:  

Every trail walked, art installation admired, and bird sighted at Teaneck Creek tells a story 25 years in the making — one of restoration, resilience, and renewal. As we approach our 25th anniversary in 2026, we are reflecting on just how far this community-built urban oasis has come — and how much your support continues to make possible: a green space for tomorrow's children.

In 2025, Teaneck Creek Conservancy deepened its dual mission of ecological restoration and community creativity. We created the Woodland Peace Garden, strengthened new wetland habitats, and continued invasive species management that keeps our ecosystems thriving. Through our eco-art initiatives, artists and volunteers transformed reclaimed materials into public works that celebrate the natural and cultural heritage of the Creek. 

Our most recent installation, Reflections, brought together local students and artists to create a lasting mosaic tribute to nature and community — a perfect example of how art and ecology meet at Teaneck Creek. This work doesn’t happen without you. Your generosity sustains the trails and habitats that offer refuge for wildlife and inspiration for visitors. Your support funds nature walks, school field trips, citizen science, and community art projects that invite everyone to connect with the land and each other.
