The CARE Project, Inc. (TCP) was created by Carrie Madrid, a stage III breast cancer survivor, who was diagnosed in 2012 at the age of 41. After realizing there were gaps in the resources available to our community, she knew she had to do something to make a difference and help others. TCP has been providing both emotional and financial support to those going through treatment since 2014.

TCP provides assistance with copays, utilities, rent, transportation, groceries end of life doula services, and so much more.

Most people know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, but did you know that 1 in 726 MEN will also be diagnosed? Breast cancer does NOT discriminate and neither does TCP.
