Larry was a life-long flyers fan, sharing and passing down his love of the team with his children. He was a passionate electrician, working in the field his whole life. He became just as passionate about other things throughout his life as they arise. It was Larry who saw the threat of development on a nearby site that turned out to be toxic. It is because of Larry's vigilance that the toxic contamination is now being cleaned up and the community is now rallying around the site's protection in a natural condition for the benefits it provides both people and nature.

Larry brought a warmth to every person's life he touched. Larry Stauffer was a man who loved his family and friends with an overflowing heart. No matter what he was doing he made everyone he was with feel comfortable, important, and welcomed

Larry Stauffer was an amazing person who lived his beliefs. Larry was dedicated to environmental protection, caring for the health and safety of children impacted by life-threatening illnesses, and showing respect to all people and the different choices they make to reflect their own personalities.

Family and friends of Larry Stauffer have created the social brand “Live Like Larry” to reflect and carry forward Larry’s beliefs and achievements:

- To keep Larry’s name, achievements and passions alive.
- To share Larry’s way of life as an example to be duplicated by others who care as deeply as Larry about environmental protection, child health and well-being, community protection, and respect for all people.
- To support -- through education, advocacy and financial contribution -- the programs Larry believed in and dedicated his life to, which includes the powerful protection for community and environmental protection Green Amendments provide.

Larry and his wife Kate helped set powerful precedent in the values of having a constitutional Green Amendment. It is an honor to share the Live Like Larry vision for justice & change!
