It’s been a tough year. Help us get back to saving dogs.

2025 was a really hard year for our small rescue. Thanks to friends like you, we started out strong — but some of our dogs needed more medical care and behavioral support than we could have ever imagined.

These special cases needed so much of our funding, love, and care over the last year. And if they were your dogs, we bet you’d give them every last bit of your focus too.

But it meant we had to stop taking in new dogs so we could devote all of our attention to the pups in our care.

The dogs who were still with us needed everything: Food, vet visits, medications, training, boarding, enrichment, and daily support. Even as we struggled behind the scenes, we stayed committed to them — that’s what these dogs deserve.

But here’s the hard part: giving these dogs what they needed meant we couldn’t focus on fundraising. And we’ve fallen behind.

When we pull a dog from the shelter, the community always shows up. But once that first wave of support passes, many of our dogs remain with us for months while they wait for adopters. This slowdown is a direct result of the overpopulation crisis in Los Angeles. Shelters are far beyond capacity, and medium and large dogs often have nowhere to go. Their long term care falls entirely on rescues like ours.

We want to save dogs again more than anything. We’re ready to get back to all the pups who need us, while caring for the ones who are still with us. But the only way we can get back on track is if people like you have our backs — and show up for these dogs.

That’s why we’re raising funds to:

• Get our funding back on track after digging deep to meet every dog’s needs in 2025.
• Build up our emergency fund for the dogs currently in our care, because we will always do what it takes to help them thrive.
• Start rescuing dogs again — our whole reason for existing in the first place.
