Celebrate Our Incredible Teachers 💛

At Petoskey Montessori, our teachers and guides do far more than educate, they nurture, inspire, and care for our children each and every day. They hold space for curiosity, growth, and independence, all while supporting the unique needs of every child in their care. Simply put, they have one of the most important (and hardest!) jobs there is.

As we approach Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8), the Board of Trustees is coming together to honor these extraordinary educators in meaningful and joyful ways. In years past, we’ve been able to provide small but impactful tokens of appreciation (massages, pedicures, coffee and sweet treats, gift cards, and other thoughtful surprises to brighten their week).

With a team of 16–19 dedicated teachers and guides, these gestures add up financially, but we truly believe it’s one small way we can give back to the people who give so much to our children every day.

We know families invest deeply in their children’s education and care, and we are so grateful. If you’re able, we invite you to join us in showing our appreciation. Together, we can ensure our teachers feel seen, supported, and celebrated, not just for one week, but for the lasting impact they make every single day.
