We're building something new on the San Francisco Peninsula — and we're starting from the ground up.

Gold Rush, FIRST Robotics Competition Team 11976, is a new community-based high school robotics team supported by Colma Robotics Foundation. Our students are taking on an incredible challenge: design, build, wire, program, and compete with a full-size robot — all in just a few short months.

But before they can build the robot, we have to build the team.

As a new community program, we're starting without the resources established teams often have waiting for them. We're building our workshop, acquiring tools and equipment, purchasing robot parts and materials, paying competition registration fees, and creating a program that students can participate in regardless of which school they attend.

And we're doing it because we believe students who want to build, create, engineer, and compete deserve a place to do it.

Your donation directly helps put tools in students' hands, parts on the robot, and Gold Rush on the competition field. Just as importantly, you're helping us build a sustainable community program that can give students these opportunities for years to come.
