Tee Off for Tates 2026

What started as a small community golf outing inspired by one little girl has grown into something much bigger.

Tee Off for Tates was created in honor of Elizabeth “Tates” Rose Wells, an incredible little girl living with Aicardi Syndrome — a rare neurological disorder that affects only a small number of children worldwide.

Like many rare disease families, Tates’ journey includes ongoing therapies, medical challenges, uncertainty, and countless obstacles. But it also includes strength, resilience, joy, and an entire community that continues to rally around families affected by Aicardi Syndrome.

Now entering Year 3, this event is about more than golf.

It’s about raising awareness for a condition many people have never heard of.

It’s about supporting advocacy, research, and resources through the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation.

And it’s about reminding families facing rare diseases that they are not fighting alone.

Over the past two years, local businesses, families, golfers, friends, and supporters across the Cincinnati area have helped raise thousands of dollars in support of the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation and its mission to serve families affected by Aicardi Syndrome.

In 2026, we’re aiming even higher.
