The Teen Comedy Cohort is a Chan Clan youth experience powered by Chandler Advisory Inc. that gives young people the opportunity to learn comedy directly from professional comedians and teaching artists.

Students will explore joke writing, storytelling, timing, confidence, stage presence, improvisation, and the process of turning everyday experiences into material. Professional comedians will work directly with the cohort through instruction, conversation, writing exercises, and live punch-up sessions that help students develop their own authentic voices.

Funds raised will help cover professional comedian and teaching artist fees, program space, student meals, transportation, supplies, production needs, and the students’ culminating comedy experience.

Your donation helps put young people in rooms they may not otherwise have access to and gives them something even bigger than a microphone: a space to discover that their stories, perspectives, and voices matter.
