On February 16th we will gather together, cover our hands with flour and learn the secrets behind the most delicious handmade pasta from Chef Cameo Fucci of Allora Pasta. You will have the opportunity to make different shapes of fresh pasta to take home with you before we gather around the table and enjoy a mouthwatering, seasonal, pasta forward dinner. You'll also take home all of the pasta that you make so you can recreate the experience once again for your loved ones. This class is hosted by Chef Cameo Fucci and Tend to You inc, a Massachusetts non-profit that donates care packages to the cancer community. About Chef Cameo: Website: https://www.allorapasta.com Led by Chef Cameo Fucci, Allora Pasta Co. is a woman-owned business that builds connections and community through pasta making workshops and wine tastings. Growing up in an Italian - American household, food has always been a big part of Cameo's life. She began her career at a small Portuguese cafe in San Francisco in 2014 which eventually brought her to kitchens in Maine, Boston, Italy, and NYC. Cameo is the recipient of the 2021 Jane Walker First Women Grant for her ongoing community work with Allora Pasta Co. Through the company’s program, Pasta with a Purpose, Cameo works with local and international organizations to create safe, positive, and empowering spaces for people to learn, share knowledge and ask questions about food. Through pasta making workshops and intentional dinners, Cameo encourages storytelling through food. For her, food is about so much more than just eating. It is about the people you enjoy that food with and the stories you share around the table. Her goal with Allora is to encourage her students and guests to ask questions, be curious, and share stories around food while engaging in the art of pasta making. We hope to see you in class soon! We serve our community through invigorating local products and self-care ideas based on navigating tough experiences. Tend empowers our cancer community via care package support and mindful self-care, while championing small businesses and artisans. Tend to You assembles and delivers care packages for cancer patients in active treatment. These packages are bursting with high-quality, locally-sourced products made from all-natural ingredients. Through these care packages, we are hoping to help cancer patients navigate the difficulties of their journey, while also championing small-businesses.
