Tend to You Tuesday: 3-Month Yoga Series with Founder Ellie McDonald

Tend to You welcomes the first three months of 2024 with a three-part yoga class #tendtoyoutuesday series from our founder, Ellie McDonald. Join Ellie and the Tend Team in three 60-minute yoga classes where you will be invited to follow the theme of CENTERING. We will explore what it even means to feel "centered". We will focus on centering our breath, our heart, and our dristi (focus) during each class. The centering skills you learn here are certainly transferable off the mat! Class Schedule: 1. Center Your Breath: Tuesday January 30th 7:00PM-8:00PM The first class will focus on breathwork exercises followed by very gentle yoga and ending with a thoughtful meditation. - 2. Center Your Heart: Thursday February 29th 8:00AM-9:00AM (*note the day/time difference from the other two classes!*) This high-energy yoga class will get our blood flowing as we honor the "extra day" in the calendar year! Let's get our morning started off with an open, centered heart! - 3. Center Your Dristi (Focus): Tuesday March 26th 7:00PM-8:00PM This all-levels vinyasa flow will dive deep into our dristi, which is the sanskrit word to describe one's focused gaze that aids in their deep concentration. This class will feature traditional sun salutation sequences and end with a meditation or optional journaling. Classes are $15, or all three for $30! Sign up for one, two, or all three classes! These classes are a welcoming and inclusive environment, perfect for both beginners and experienced yogis. Whether you've never set foot on a yoga mat or have been practicing for years, this is a chance to inspire each other as we move along our own unique paths. If you are a cancer patient, you are more than welcome to attend these classes, as variations and accommodations are always invited in my classes! I genuinely believe that sharing this experience with friends and loved ones enhances its essence.
