No hero should have to choose between getting help and keeping their career.

Every day, police officers, firefighters and veterans carry things most of us will never see. Many of them need someone to talk to, but they worry that asking for help could follow them at work.

Heroes Outreach Foundation is changing that. We pay licensed counselors directly, so officers and first responders can get confidential counseling at no cost to them and without it being reported to their employer.

That's where 10 for Them comes in.

We're looking for ordinary people willing to give $10 a month, about 33 cents a day. Together, those gifts become real help:

$150 pays for one confidential counseling session
$1,500 gives one officer a full course of up to 10 sessions

You don't have to be wealthy to stand behind the people who protect us. You just have to be willing.

Join 10 for Them today, then challenge three friends to stand with you.

With gratitude,
Kaitlin Colegate
