We're back again... and we're Still In Our Feels

The Feels Foundation's annual art showcase is taking place on March 14, from 6-10PM, at AXIS Pioneer Square, located at 308 1st Ave S.

The showcase Still In Our Feels will be a multidisciplinary exhibit, presenting the work of culturally diverse emerging artists. As the last few years have brought unprecedented levels of chaos and disarray, this exhibit will seek to visually manifest the city’s local artists’ emotional responses to the world around them, while immortalizing the feelings and sentiments surrounding this unique moment in history. Thank you to our funders King County x The Gathering Collaborative, Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, and ArtsFund.

Featured artists: Cristina Martinez, Dierdre Patterson, Symonne Larison, Vy Pham and Kiki Elice

Showcasing artists: Alicia Gomez, Heidi Grace Acuna, Jaymes Junio, Jessica Lipscomb, Jonarra Swanson, Mario Fabrizio, Yarely Sales

Our highly anticipated annual showcase is not just our way of creating space to cultivate community and nurture local creatives but it's also our largest fundraising effort to sponsor all of our arts initiatives:

Art Together, a youth arts initiative in partnership with The Feels. Beginning in early 2017, The Feels launched community-based art events that feature select, local artists from around the Greater Pacific Northwest. A portion of the proceeds raised at each event continues to fund ongoing youth arts programming.
Celebrate Art/sts, a curatorial project that provides strategic support for select numbers of upcoming and emerging artists; and
Pieces, a multi-vendor marketplace focusing on visual, apparel and mixed media artists

Raffle: We’re raffling off some incredible items for TF8 including two round trip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies. Additionally, we’ll be giving away 10 free raffle tickets at random to 10 people who purchase their tickets before Sunday 3/3. Here are all the prizes for the evening:

Alaska Airlines: 2 roundtrip tickets (up to $1,200 each)
Anchovies & Salt: $200 gift card
Homme Studio: 1 complimentary intro facial and 20% off 2 additional treatments
Likelihood: Mystery Box (Valued at $300) Custom to winner's sizes

To date, The Feels has served thousands of spectators, art enthusiasts, collectors, entrepreneurs and youth. We continue to fundraise and successfully partner with local and national sponsors to assist in providing much needed resources for arts and culture throughout the Pacific Northwest and abroad.
