The Trans Faith & Action Network (TFAAN) Retreat is a powerful collective of trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, and gender nonconforming people who believe in the strength of connection and mutual support. This year, we gather for our 10th TFAAN retreat, honoring a decade of building sacred space together and the legacy of Trans Faith in Color, which first rooted this work in centering trans people of color in faith and justice spaces.

At the TFAAN Retreat, you’ll find workshops designed by our community, for our community, grounded in the conversations, practices, and care that trans, nonbinary and gender nonconforming folks need right now.

Ticket Options:

Three tickets much be added to your cart (one for each night of the retreat).

Double Room: Shared-bedroom cabins. Double Rooms have one single and one double bed per room and offer shared bathrooms (shared between two rooms). Each room accommodates two guests.

Single Room: One of two private-bedroom cabins which have a single bed per room and offer shared bathrooms (1 full bath for every 3 rooms). Each room accommodates one guest.

About Avila

Avila sits on a serene, wooded 50-acre property 20 minutes north of Durham, North Carolina. The property offers spaces for relaxed social interaction, contemplation and a chance to be out in nature. One can walk along nearly a mile of trails, sit by the creek, meet in one of our three gazebos, enjoy the walking meditation labyrinth or roast marshmallows with friends around the fire pit.
