Raffle Tickets

Price: 1 Ticket/$5, 10 Tickets/$40, 20 Tickets/$75, 100 Tickets/$350
There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase.
Tickets are sold in-person and online. Online ticket purchases will be converted to paper tickets. You will receive a photo of your paper tickets and the numbers on each ticket you purchase within 2 business days of your purchase.
Online ticket sales end at 11:59 PM EDT on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The total number of raffle tickets available for purchase is 2,500. The odds of winning are 1/2,500 per ticket if all tickets are sold.
Theatre for All Board Members, Employees, Contractors, and their immediate household family members are ineligible to enter or win this raffle.

The Drawing

The drawing will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 9:00 pm EDT in Wilmington, North Carolina at The Bootlegger's Ball, Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts. The winning ticket will be drawn at random by a Theatre for All company member. The winner does not need to be present to win.

Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions

The New York Getaway prize does not include travel expenses to New York City, travel within New York City, meals not specifically identified in prize description, hotel room service, federal, state, or local prize taxes, or any other expenses incurred not specifically identified in the the prize description.
The winner will be contacted by Theatre for All immediately following the drawing and has two (2) weeks to accept the prize and complete the IRS forms required by law. The winning ticket number will be posted on Theatre for All's website within 24 hours of the drawing. In the event that the winner does not accept the prize within two (2) weeks, is ruled ineligible, refuses the prize, or does not return required forms, the prize will be forfeited, the ticket deemed void, and a new drawing will be held. The winner can give the prize to another person, but that individual must accept the prize and meet the same qualifications stated here.
The winner must determine choice of dates and Broadway show for the New York Getaway by December 15, 2024. The winner must communicate selected dates to Theatre for All no less than three (3) months prior to the trip dates. For instance, if the chosen dates are January 15, 16, and 17, 2025, the winner must request these dates by October 15, 2024. The dates of the New York Getaway must fall between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
The winner will select their choice of a Broadway Show available during their selected New York Getaway dates. Theatre for All will acquire two (2) tickets for the best seats available up to $300 per ticket (inclusive of taxes and fees). The winner must communicate the need for accessible seating when dates are selected. Additionally, Theatre for All will make every effort to accommodate the winner's desired seating arrangements. For instance: A preference for balcony or aisle seats.
Replacement: In the event any item included in the prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Theatre for All will replace the item with an item of equal value and use. For instance, if the New Yorker Hotel closes, Theatre for All will replace the room with accommodations in a similar location with equal value and benefit.
Theatre for All is not responsible for rescheduling elements of the New York Getaway after the winner has selected their dates and Broadway show.
The value of Theatre for All's New York Getaway prize is approximately $3,000. All Federal, State, and local taxes associated with the receipt and use of this prize is solely the responsibility of the winner.
Money raised by this raffle will support Theatre for All, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The purchase of raffle tickets is not considered a donation to Theatre for All for tax purposes.
The New York Getaway prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prize is permitted.
By entering this raffle, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Theatre for All and Facebook/Instagram platform administrators, advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from any liabiity, damages, losses, or injury resulting in whole or in part, diretly or indirectly, from that entrant's participation in the raffle and the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize that may be won.
Theatre for All is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the New York Getaway Raffle, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting of these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize.
