From Sister City partnerships that span generations, to professional exchanges that bring global leaders to Tulsa, to youth programs and cultural festivals that spark understanding across our city, this is citizen diplomacy in action.

Tulsa Global Alliance is the only organization in Oklahoma that implements the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program and serves as the home of Tulsa’s nine Sister City partnerships. We connect people across cultures, professions, and generations to build lasting global relationships.

From classroom lessons and activities to community celebrations, Tulsa Global Alliance helps students experience the world right here in Tulsa.

Through programs like Culture Boxes, Global Gatherings, and school partnerships across the city, global learning becomes something students can see, touch, and share.

TGA is proud to serve as the treasurer and co-coordinator for Tulsa Public Schools' 3 International Schools. We support their travels to Spain, Costa Rica, and our French Sister City, Amiens, by safely managing travel-related finances, purchasing their flights, exchanging currencies, and more. With TGA’s support, over 50 Tulsa Public Schools students expanded their worldview and sense of global connection by visiting partner schools across the globe.

Sister Cities International has awarded Tulsa Global Alliance with the "Best Overall Program" award three times! As we celebrate 45 years of Tulsa's Sister Cities, we reflect on the 3 generations of people who have been impacted by our programs!

Every $1 invested in IVLP creates $11 of local impact, supporting Tulsa’s restaurants, hotels, and community programs.

Through the International Visitor Leadership Program, global leaders connect with Tulsa’s educators, entrepreneurs, and civic innovators, strengthening understanding and sparking opportunity.
