Help Put Thanksgiving on a Family’s Table

For many of us, Thanksgiving means deciding what to cook, who’s coming over, and whether we have enough chairs.

For a parent struggling to get by, the question may be much harder: “How am I going to feed my children?”

I keep thinking about the mothers and fathers quietly carrying that worry. The ones working hard, stretching every dollar, and trying to keep their children from knowing just how difficult things have become. They want what we all want: to see their children fed, safe, and happy.

And I think about the children. They don’t understand rising grocery prices or overdue bills. They just know that it’s Thanksgiving, and they’re hoping for something special.

We can help make that happen.

This Thanksgiving, I’m raising funds for Eva’s Closet to support local families facing hardship. Their team meets people with kindness and practical help when they need it most, and I want us to help them reach more families.

If you have enough this season, please consider sharing a little. Whatever you can give, it matters. For a family already carrying so much, a little help can mean a moment to breathe and enjoy being together.

As you plan your own Thanksgiving, please make room in your heart for a family whose table may look very different from yours.

Donate what you can. Share this campaign. Help us make sure our neighbors feel cared for this Thanksgiving.
