The Aiyanna Williams Memorial Scholarship

Presented to a high school senior beginning in May 2027

The Aiyanna Williams Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Aiyanna Williams, a young woman whose kindness, determination, compassion, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Aiyanna believed in encouraging others, pursuing her passions with dedication, and using her gifts to make a difference in the lives of those around her. As a dancer, volleyball player, student, mentor, and aspiring healthcare professional, she demonstrated the importance of hard work, resilience, and caring for others.

This scholarship will be awarded to a young person who reflects the qualities that defined Aiyanna’s life:

Demonstrates kindness, compassion, and empathy toward others.
Shows perseverance in overcoming challenges or obstacles.
Actively serves their school, community, family, or peers.
Pursues extracurricular activities, arts, athletics, academics, or personal passions with commitment and enthusiasm.
Exhibits leadership through positive influence and character rather than title alone.
Has a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The recipient does not need to be the most accomplished student, athlete, performer, or leader. Instead, this scholarship seeks to recognize a young person whose character, heart, and determination embody the spirit of Aiyanna Williams and whose dreams deserve encouragement and support.

The recipient should be someone who makes others feel valued, supported, and loved—the same way Aiyanna did.

Through this scholarship, Day Dreams Foundation seeks to celebrate Aiyanna’s legacy by investing in young people who lead with kindness, pursue their dreams with purpose, and positively impact the lives of those around them.
