The Barrio Fútbol Project is a locally-powered initiative exploring the intersection of identity, community, and sport through the lens of East Austin’s Barrio Club de Fútbol.

Told in three interwoven parts—documentary, exhibition, and experience—the project brings together artists, fans, players, and neighbors to celebrate the beautiful game. A year-long photo documentary captures the stories of the club, exhibitions powered by local artists champion expression, and a two-day futsal tournament, art market, and DJ showcase create a living archive of the moment while inviting people to experience the magic of the movement.

Support and sponsorship enables not just the production of the project, but the people within it by funding artists, shaping shared experiences, and contributing to a lasting cultural archive.
