THE BIG 60 CHALLENGE

60 Days. 60 Minutes. One Bigger Purpose.

I started THE BIG 60 when I turned 60. I thought I was creating a challenge to get people moving and help kids play. What happened over those 60 days changed me.

This year, I'm inviting Kansas City to do it with me.

From September 1 through October 30, we take the challenge together:

MOVE 60 — Move your body for 60 minutes a day. Walk, golf, run, bike, practice yoga, dance, play with your kids. It all counts.

DISCONNECT 60 — Spend 60 intentional minutes away from screens and distraction.

GIVE 60 — Give or raise $60 to help more kids experience sports and play.

Through our work with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City alone, we've helped provide more than 100 opportunities and deployed more than $25,000 to help kids get in the game — from league fees and cleats to camps and lessons.

Behind every number is a kid: a first team. A first basketball league. A first-place finish in the 800 meters. An opportunity that might not have happened otherwise.
