Bunker Brothers is a veteran nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran isolation, a leading contributor to veteran suicide. We aim to accomplish this mission through the development of The Bunker App.

The Bunker App is a veteran-only social networking and resource platform designed to be easily accessible from a mobile phone at any time. It serves as a one-stop hub where veterans can connect with local peers, locate vital resources, seek peer support during times of crisis, and share their stories in a community built specifically by and for veterans.

Many veterans experience the feeling of being surrounded by people who do not understand their experiences. Too often, this sense of disconnection does not fully surface until after their uniform is taken off for the final time. Through The Bunker App, veterans will find themselves surrounded by others who understand their journey. Our core values — Community, Support, and Strength — guide every aspect of the platform, allowing veterans to form in-person connections and access real-world guidance from peers who have successfully navigated life after service.

The overwhelming challenge of navigating thousands of scattered veteran resources will no longer exist. We are compiling a centralized list of verified support services and, more importantly, creating tools that show veterans how to actually access these resources — not simply handing them a list and wishing them luck. An integrated AI support agent will further assist veterans by filtering options and helping connect them to the benefits and services they have earned.

Developing and sustaining this platform involves significant costs — including app development, server infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical support. To complete development and maintain long-term operations, we rely on donor and sponsor partnerships. Supporting over 11 million technology-enabled veterans nationwide is no small effort, but we have assembled the experience and team necessary to make this vision a reality.
