Why This Matters

Did you know that Black bodies in America age at a faster rate on a cellular level? Public health researchers call this "Weathering." It is the result of the chronic, relentless stress of systemic marginalization, causing our bodies to appear 7 to 10 years biologically older than our chronological age.

When we say we are "tired," it isn't just about sleep; it’s about a physiological toll that has been passed down for generations. At Divine Times Collective, we believe that rest is not a luxury—it is a form of Imagination Reparation.

The Vision: Creating a Container for Repair

Through our upcoming Pan-Afro Wisdom Retreats and global immersions, we are gathering a village of Black, queer, and trans artists, cultural workers, and visionaries. We bridge healing across borders, moving from local sanctuaries in the Hudson Valley to deep cultural roots in Brazil.

We aren't just escaping to nature; we are going to repair. Through carpentry workshops, plant medicine, and celestial soundscapes, we create a container to regulate our nervous systems, reconnect with our inner child, and build the "new ancestral worlds" we deserve to live in.

What anchors this work and keeps it safe is that it is deeply research-backed—incorporating a framework of community psychoanalysis informed by our international network of Black therapists and social workers.

The Goal: Resourcing the Village Ecosystem

The "Weathering" we face is systemic, so our solution must be communal. We have set a collective goal of $15,000 for our Sanctuary Fund to completely resource this upcoming cycle of rest, breaking down financial barriers for those who need it most.

By contributing to this fund, you are helping us build a lasting foundation rather than a temporary fix. Your capital directly resources:

Full & Partial Scholarships: Covering lodging, chef-prepared nourishing meals, and all workshop programming for Villagers facing financial barriers.
Travel Grants: Eliminating the barrier of transportation to safely transport our visionaries to our sanctuary spaces.
Stewardship & Artist Stipends: Fully honoring our international facilitators, practitioners, and sound residents for their labor in holding these sacred spaces.

How You Can Help

$50 – The Seed: Provides essential workshop materials, from raw wood for carpentry to organic herbs for medicine making.
$150 – The Nourishment: Covers a full cycle of communal, chef-prepared, nourishing meals for one Villager.
$500 – The Sanctuary: Sponsors more than half of a full immersive retreat experience for a Black queer/trans visionary.
$1,000 – The Village Anchor: Fully funds a complete scholarship—covering travel, lodging, meals, and workshops for one person, while directly contributing to our facilitator stipends.
