Every woman has an edit.

A moment when she stops living the story she was handed and starts writing the next one herself. That idea is at the heart of Podcast Rebloom and the Rebloomer community, women navigating midlife with purpose, resilience, and a refusal to shrink.

It is also, in a quieter but equally powerful way, the story of reentry.

Every person coming home after incarceration is writing a new chapter too, often with far fewer resources, less support, and far less grace from the world than most of us are given. They are redirecting a life, one decision at a time, often while carrying judgment that never gave them the benefit of the doubt.

The Edit: Runway for Reentry brings these stories together on one runway.

On Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, Maryland, models from the Rebloomer community and men and women from MDRRC's reentry program will walk together across three acts of transformation:

The Reset, the moment they stop living the story they were handed.
The Rebuild, the work of putting a new life together, piece by piece.
The Reveal, stepping fully into who they've become.

The evening opens with a garden cocktail hour and marketplace, moves into the runway show, and closes with dessert, live music, and the chance to invest directly in second chances.

Every ticket, every sponsorship, and every gift funds the Maryland Reentry Resource Center's work: housing navigation, job training, and wraparound support for justice-impacted individuals and families across Maryland. MDRRC currently serves over 500 people a year, and federal funding cuts have made events like this one not just important, but essential.

Fashion is the vehicle. Reentry is the point.
